Suspects plead not guilty to drug charges
Two suspects recently arrested in a string of Iron County U.P.S.E.T. investigations pled not guilty to criminal drug charges in Iron County Circuit Court.
The pair waived their rights to a preliminary exam in District Court Monday, and were promptly arraigned in Circuit Court on separate felony charges.
Tammy Leopard, 37, is charged one count of delivery of a schedule 4 controlled substance.
Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team originally arrested Leopard on December 28. She will be back in court on February 24 for a pretrial hearing.
Chad Fesnick, 29, was arrested by U.P.S.E.T. on January 14. He is charged with delivery of
less than 50 grams of heroin. Fesnick has a pretrial conference scheduled for March 3.
