MCHD: new plan coming for vaccine distribution
Health Department to hold COVID-19 booster clinic before Christmas.
MARQUETTE COUNTY — The Marquette County Health Department is working on a better way to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.
Officials are working on a preregistration process that will allow people 65 and older to get their name on a list for an appointment. The health department will use the list to contact individuals once vaccine becomes available.
No preregistration is available at this time, health department officials stress. The department must first increase infrastructure and staff to manage the process. They say further details will be provided in the next couple of days.
