Bald Eagle Harley-Davidson holding riding classes all summer

MARQUETTE — With the weather warming up, you might be interested in getting out and riding on a motorcycle at some point this summer, and soon you’ll be able to take a class to help get you ready to do just that.

Bald Eagle Harley-Davidson in Marquette will be offering a riding academy almost every weekend of the summer until October, starting at the end of the month.

The three day course is designed to teach beginners everything they need to know about riding motorcycles, but even experienced riders can get something from the academy.

“We’ve had people who have ridden for years but don’t have their endorsement take our class, and they are surprised about how much they’ve learned about riding,” says Cheri Bannan, riding academy instructor. “Our class, compared to some of the other ones, is more one–on–one. We only have six people per class, everyone has their own bike, there’s no bike sharing. And they get a lot of one–on–one with their instructors.”

At the end of the course, attendees will be given a certificate, which they can use to get their motorcycle endorsement from the Secretary of State.
