Gogebic County Police Continue Their Investigation After Finding a Body
BESSEMER, Mich. – Gogebic County Police are continuing their investigation after finding a deceased man in a pond.
On Tuesday November 3, 2020, the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office took a call at approximately 12:00 [noon] of a missing person in the City of Bessemer.
Deputies responded and conducted an initial search of the area. The missing person, john Joseph Evsich, had not been seen since the early morning of November 2nd.
Cogebic County Search and Rescue responded and focused efforts on a privately owned pool.
Divers enter the pond and were able to recover the body of John Joseph Evsich, 57-years-old.
Evsich was pronounced deceased on the scene. The investigation is still ongoing and nothing further is being released at this time.
