Iron Mountain Police Make Arrest
IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. – The Iron Mountain Police Department received information through the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department that Emerson Keith Reed, a subject wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections may be in the Iron Mountain Area.
Information was developed that the Reed as well as a stolen car were located at a trailer in the Park Ridge Trailer Park.
After issuance of a search warrant for the trailer by Dickinson County Prosecutor Lisa Richards, the C.I.R.T. (Critical Incident Response Team) was activated.
The C.I.R.T. team is comprised of members from the Iron Mountain Police Department, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department, the Kingsford Public Safety Department,and the Norway Police Department.
The search warrant was executed at approximately 1pm on 11/04/20.
Reed is wanted for questioning in reference to a burned vehicle that had a deceased person found inside of it in August of 2020.
Reed is currently being held in the Dickinson County Correctional Center without bond pending extradition back to Wisconsin.
