Jerzi’s 41 Holiday Fundraiser for families
CHAMPION — Jerzi’s 41 Sports Bar and Grill is working hard to make sure all families around the UP have a wonderful holiday season.
The bar adopts 5 families every year from the local schools and provides them with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. They also provide each family with presents for Christmas. They’re able to do this every year thanks to donations and fundraisers such as the Gingerbread House Charity.
“The Gingerbread House fundraiser is a really fun one. It’s for individuals or organizations that want to get involved,” said Jamie Clark, owner of Jerzi’s 41 Sports Bar and Grill. “It’s a $50 dollar entry fee. You make your gingerbread house, everyone comes and votes and the winner gets 50% of all the entry fees. The other 50% goes directly to help provide Christmas for these families. I think Jerzi’s 41 is a good little platform to bring everybody together to help those in need. We never know when we’ll be there and it’s really cool that the community comes together and makes this happen for everyone.”
