A Negaunee school combined fundraising with education today.
Students had a fun time taking a test while raising money for their school.
Negaunee Middle School participated in the second annual Knowledge-A-Thon Challenge.
Students answered 50 questions appropriate to their grade level.
Negaunee Middle School principal Dan Skewis says students in all three grades went out asking for pledges for each question that they could answer correctly on their tests.
The challenge is sponsored by the parent group at Negaunee Middle School.
The proceeds of the event are used to support field trips, assemblies, classroom requests and new technology.
In addition to raising the money for the school, each student was given a Knowledge-A-Thon T-shirt.
