Steinhaus cooks up unique specials for Restaurant Week

MARQUETTE — With Restaurant Week taking place this week, there are lots of tasty deals to be found. Steinhaus has some great offers you might enjoy.

This is the first year that Steinhaus has been a part of the Eastside Originals Restaurant Association, so they’re pretty excited for Restaurant Week. Last year, the German restaurant was inundated with customers, and expect a similar turnout this year.

“This year we’re encouraging everyone to call and make a reservation ahead so that we can make sure that anybody that wants to try out our specials can get in, get a seat. If not, come in, grab a beer at the bar, we have over 50 beers to offer and you’ll have a good time,” said Alex Kofsky, a managing partner at the Steinhaus.

The chefs at Steinhaus are working hard preparing some special dishes for the week. Dancing Crane Farms is providing some fresh produce for the menu. There will be quail and waffles for a brunch special, and oxtail soup and a roasted beet dish as part of their dinner deal.

“With restaurant week it’s always, or at least last year, it was a lot of early mornings and late nights but its fun and people enjoy it so we enjoy it, we like making people happy and giving them good food,” said Colin Campbell, a sous chef at Steinhaus

Along with many other restaurants participating, Steinhaus will offer a $10 brunch special and a $25 dinner special. For a full list of participating restaurants, click here.
