Snomobile Accident Arraignment
The Alger County man charged with running a woman over with his snowmobile goes back to court next Thursday.
That’s when 26-year-old Nathan Curry of Trenary has his preliminary exam.
He’s accused of operating while intoxicated, causing serious injury.
State Police from the Munising Post say on Sunday, 2 snowmobiles were traveling together on Cold Springs Road in Alger County.
A 20-year-old Escanaba woman was driving the first sled.
She hit a snowdrift, throwing her and a passenger from the machine.
Curry ran the woman over while she was on the pavement.
She was taken to Marquette General with injured ribs and vertebrae, a punctured lung and a punctured liver.
Her name, and how she’s doing now, have not been released.
