Michigan Tech Moving Forward with New Apartments
Michigan Tech’s commencement is tomorrow morning, too.
When the new school year starts, there’ll be construction underway to give students more places to live.
Michigan Tech’s Board of Control has approved keeping the $16.5 million project near McNair Hall going.
Grad students and undergrad upperclassmen will live there.
Bids are due by the middle of May, with the idea of groundbreaking possibly in June.
There’ll also be new degree programs on campus that the board approved today.
Most of them are in computer engineering and business.
They gave final approval to both a Master’s and a Ph.D. program in computer engineering after getting the state’s OK.
