The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office investigated two personal injury accidents Friday.

Two subjects were transported to Aspirus Grandview Hospital by Beacon Ambulance. Their conditions are not being released at this time.
Ironwood Township Fire Department responded to the scene with extraction equipment.
A report of a second accident was received just a few hours later around 9:30 p.m.
Police say it happened on Snowmobile Trail #2 west of Wakefield, when a man traveling west on Trail #2 failed to negotiate a corner, left the trail, struck a tree, and ended up at the bottom of a ravine.
Sheriff’s Deputies responded with a snowmobile and rescue sled, and were able to remove the man from the ravine with the assistance of EMS and members of his party.
The man was transported to Aspirus Grandview Hospital by Beacon Ambulance with severe, non-life threatening injuries. He was later transferred to a medical facility near Minneapolis.
