Northern Michigan University’s Learning Resource Center is up and running after being temporarily closed Tuesday morning due to a water main break.
Internet, phone, and email access has been restored across the campus, as well.
WNMU-TV channels 13-1 and 13-2 are still being repaired. Station engineers are working to correct the problems caused by the power outage, but no information is available about when normal programming will resume.

A water main break has led to the temporary closure of Northern Michigan University’s Learning Resource Center.
Generators in the LRC that help to provide Internet and email access on campus were impacted, so access to those services has been affected.
Traffic is being diverted on campus near Tracy Avenue while the Public Works Department addresses the issue. NMU officials anticipate the closure to remain in effect until at least noon.
Updated information about facility use will be released as it becomes available.
