MDOT: slow down for construction

If you’ve been driving along US-41 and M-28 in Marquette County recently, you already know that construction is causing a few delays.

Road crews are in the middle of several projects.

Both roads and sidewalks throughout Marquette and Negaunee are being repaired and rebuilt.

Motorists should watch for lane closures and use extra caution in work zones.

Many of the work zones in projects across the U.P. have reduced speed limit signs posted.

MDOT and county road crews ask that drivers slow down and watch for workers in all construction zones.
