Mobile Meth Lab Case Update
A Michigamme man will be arraigned in Marquette County Circuit Court on September 28th on charges related to a meth lab.
29–year–old Mathew Querfeld was arrested on August 31st for driving under the influence of drugs.
The Ishpeming Police say they found in his car several meth lab components and what appeared to be methamphetamine itself.
They also say the license plate on the vehicle had been stolen or forged.
Querfeld is facing three felony charges.
Operating or maintaining a meth lab carries up to a 20–year sentence if convicted.
Possession of meth is a ten–year charge, and forgery of a license plate has a potential five–year sentence.
Querfeld is also charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, which is a one–year misdemeanor.
He’s been bound over to Circuit Court for his arraignment on the 28th.
Querfeld is in the Marquette County Jail on $47,500 bond.
