Houghton candidate forum held
Several local candidates were invited to a question and answer forum today in Houghton. Several key local offices in Houghton are up for election this November.
A meet and greet with the candidates was provided by the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce and the Copper Country League of Women Voters.
Given one minute each to respond to pre-submitted questions…the candidates weighed in on topics such as mining in the Copper Country, county-wide zoning, and state revenue sharing.
