Menominee resident dies after US-2 motorcycle accident
DELTA COUNTY — On Sunday, May 27th a motorcycle accident in Delta County has claimed the life of a Menominee resident.
The victim was travelling Westbound on US-2 near Y.25, when she lost control of her motorcycle and became seperated from it.
The victim was not wearing a helmet and sustained severe head injuries. She was air lifted to UP-Health Systems in Marquette, where she later died from her injuries.
The Delta County Sheriff Department was assisted at the scene by Masonville EMT’s, Rampart EMS, The Federal Forest Service, Ensign Fire, Pro Towing and Valley Med flight.
