IRON MOUNTAIN — Bay College West Campus  hosted an event by the Caring House on Monday evening to bring awareness and information about sexual assault month.

Caring house held this event to give thanks and are working on educating the community about sexual assault.
They presented some new posters that will help provide more insight on the topic. They also acknowledged public figures who have been working hard to protect and help sexual assault survivors and victims’.

The Caring house is very serious about this topic and wants to make sure people understand sexual assault is wrong.

“We need to come up to the plate and really teach our community that nobody, no matter what, nobody deserves to be sexually assaulted,” said, Executive Director of Caring House, Cheryl O’Neal.

The Caring House will continue to serve its community and help those who are in need.
