Car hits truck hauling a camper in Hancock

HANCOCK — There were no serious injuries after a two vehicles collided in Hancock Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 9 a.m. near Pat’s Foods.  The Hancock Police Department said a woman driving a black car was attempting to turn right onto U.S. 41 from Scott Street when she pulled out into the patch of a truck hauling a camper driving eastbound.

Both drivers were checked by Mercy Ambulance for a few aches, but no one was seriously injured.

The woman was cited for failure to yield.
