It was a sunny, windy, and warm day across the region Monday.

Clouds increase again throughout the viewing area, as another wave of showers arrives in the Upper Peninsula Monday night. Overnight lows fall to the upper 40s and lower 50s, with a light north wind blows at five miles per hour.

By Tuesday, showers will cover the U.P., with the heaviest showers in the U.P.’s southern counties. High temperatures look to be much cooler, topping off in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Northwest winds pick up to between 10-15 miles per hour.

Light showers are expected to remain across the U.P. through Tuesday night. Lows will drop to the upper 40s and lower 50s again, as winds come out of the north at 5-10 miles per hour.

Wednesday features another small chance of rain before clearing begins later that evening.
