Miners & Patriots win U.P. Boys Tennis titles

The Negaunee Miners won the U.P. Division 1 Boys Tennis championship at Kingsford High School on Wednesday. It was the Miners’ fourth U.P. championship win in the last five years. The Westwood Patriots on the U.P. Division 2 Boys Tennis championship on their own courts in West Ishpeming. The Patriots held off the 2013 U.P. champs, West Iron County, by two team points.
