A Calumet man pled guilty to a lesser drug charge at his preliminary hearing in 97th District Court in Houghton County Monday.
Douglas Lloyd Loven, 50, had a felony count of Controlled Substance, Delivery–Manufacture of Cocaine, less than 50 grams lowered to a misdemeanor charge of Use of Cocaine.
Loven was arrested August 14 after an undercover investigation by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team. U.P.S.E.T. seized about one ounce of cocaine when he was arrested.
Loven will be sentenced on October 28.
