One hurt in Marquette Co. rollover
One man escaped serious injury this morning his pickup truck overturned on U-S 41 in Marquette County. The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at about 7:45 a.m. near the intersection with Erickson Street.
Police say 31-year-old Anthony Tiernan of Marquette lost control of his Dodge Dakota truck on the eastbound lane of U-S 41 in Marquette Township. The truck hit a mailbox and then rolled over.
Tiernan was treated and released for head and neck injuries.
Police say the road was ice-covered in spots at the time of the accident.
The Sheriffs Office was assisted by Marquette General EMS and the Marquette Township Fire Department.
