NMU Football Team Names Captains
The Northern Michigan University football Wildcats started fall practice earlier today, and they now have their captains for 2012 in place.
Seniors Zach Anderson, Jace Daniels and Eddie Knoblock, as well as junior Christian Marble–King, have been voted captains by their teammates.
Anderson, a defensive lineman, and Daniels, an offensive lineman, were All–GLIAC second team selections last year.
Knoblock, a linebacker, was on the All–GLIAC first team two years ago.
Marble–King, a wide receiver, was an All–GLIAC honorable mention choice last year.
The Wildcats begin their season three weeks from tonight, August 30th, at Findlay.
Their home opener is on Thursday, September 6th, against Wisconsin–La Crosse.
