The Delta County man accused of stealing a vehicle and then running it into the Gladstone Public Safety building was arraigned today.
32-year-old Robert John Anderson of Gladstone is charged with malicious destruction of a building with up to $20,000 dollars of damage.
He’s also charged with unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle, resisting and obstructing officers, possession of analogues and operating under the influence of a controlled substance.
The Gladstone Public Safety Department says Anderson stole a car from a construction zone on US–2 north of Gladstone.
They say he then drove the vehicle through a garage door at the Public Safety building at about 6 pm last night.
