Man Drives Stolen Vehicle into Building
A man believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance is in custody after stealing a vehicle and then running it into the Gladstone Public Safety building.
Officers say that just after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday night the man Toyota Camry from a construction zone on US-2 near the North side of the City of Gladstone. After resisting police, the suspect was taking into custody and transported to OSF St. Francis Hospital for treatment.
Gladstone Public Safety Officers were assisted by the Delta County Sheriff’s Department and Rampart EMS.
The suspects name is not being released at this time.
