U.P man reappointed to MI Beef Commission

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder recently reappointed Timothy Andrews, of Sault Ste. Marie; Daniel Javor, of Hastings; and Dale Oeschger, of Bay Port, to the Michigan Beef Industry Commission.

“I thank the members for their continued commitment to serve this industry and our state,” Snyder said.

The 11-member commission promotes the sale of beef and beef products in the state.

Andrews is the owner of Andrews Beef Farm, and is reappointed to represent cattle growers.

Javor owns Burdock Hill Dairy LLC. Javor is reappointed to represent dairy farmers.

Oeschger is the owner of Lindale Farms. Oeschger is reappointed to represent cattle feeders.

The appointees will each serve a three-year term ending May 31, 2015, pending the advice and consent of the state Senate.
