Wallace Scrap Metal Theft

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help finding a scrap metal thief.
They say it happened in Wallace back on Tuesday, June 5th.
Shortly before 4 pm that day, they got a call from a 65–year–old man.
He told police that he watches a home in Wallace that is owned by a man from out of state.
The Wallace man said that the home appeared to have been broken into.
Once officers got there, they found that the front door had been damaged.
Some copper and some type of wiring had also been removed.
The damage and the missing property are worth just under $400 combined.
The Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone who has more information to call them at 863–4441.
