Assault reported in Delta County
One man is in custody while Delta County law enforcement investigate an assault. It was reported at approximately 5 a.m. Sunday.
Delta County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Baldwin Township for the alleged assault complaint. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with two male subjects from Wisconsin.
The two male subjects reported being assaulted and robbed while camping in the Baldwin Township area.
Deputies identified several suspects and took into custody a 50 year old Cornell Township man. He was lodged at the Delta County Correctional Facility on a $5, 000 cash bond.
The incident is still under investigation.
