Marquette City Commission Meeting
The Marquette City Commission met for a regular scheduled board meeting tonight.
The issue discussed most on the agenda tonight has to deal with a controversial project in the community.
The bog walk wetland mitigation project started just a few days ago. Many citizens have a lot of concern regarding this project. Practically actions by the city while making decision on the plan for the bog walk area at Presque Isle.
However, this project was been reviewed by the Department of Environmental Quality, the E.P.A, the Army Core of Engineers, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
