U.S. Senate Candidate Visits Marquette
A Republican Candidate for the U.S. Senate made a special visit to Marquette tonight to talk with area Republicans about his plan if elected.
Pete Konetchy said he is running for the Senate seat to help get the Federal Government back to functioning properly. If elected he plans to allow the free people to take care of the needs in society through free market and volunteer charity.
Kotechy’s plan starts with ensuring the Federal Government will honor the constitution. He hopes to get the budget balanced immediately. He would also like to downsize government and get it out of where he does not think it belongs. He also has a plan for industries important to the U.P.
Konetchy will be in Schoolcraft County tomorrow talking with area Republicans.
