Late-Night Houghton Food Vendor

Ever get a hankering for some quality food in Houghton late at night?

Right now, your options are limited, but that may be about to change.

Yesterday, the Houghton City Council approved a peddler’s license for a local small business.

It’s T&T Concessions, owned by retired police officer Tom Katalin.

The license is good for one year, allowing the vendor to sell food on Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 11 pm and 2 am.

Katalin says T&T will be unlike anything else in the city, a concession trailer that will sell restaurant–quality food at street level.

T&T is expected to operate outside the new Continental Fire Club in Houghton.

A few more details need to be ironed out, but Katalin says he’s hoping to open T&T Concessions on march 30th.
