Controversial Road Closed for Bridge Work
A controversial area road will be closed later this week for bridge work.
It’s County Road KK in Big Bay.
The Marquette County Road Commission is blocking off the road Wednesday at the Salmon Trout River.
They’ll be doing maintenance work on the deck of the bridge there.
The Road Commission says it should be off limits from 7:30 that morning until mid-afternoon.
County Road KK runs through Huron Mountain Club property.
Earlier this year, the club asked the Road Commission to turn the road over to them.
