Bell Hospital Gets High Marks for Patient Satisfaction
A U.P. hospital is receiving national recognition for its performance.
Press Ganey Associates measures patient satisfaction in nearly 1,800 hospitals across the U.S.
They rank Bell Hospital in Ishpeming in the top 1% nationally for physician service, and in the top 2% for patient care satisfaction.
Press Ganey does this by asking patients about their satisfaction with 50 different categories of care.
Bell scored extremely high in many of the main ones.
The rankings represented performance from the last quarter of 2008.
