A dozen people are under arrest tonight after a major drug sweep through Marquette County.
Detectives from the U.P. Substance Enforcement Team conducted the sweep Wednesday night.
They say several months of investigation led up to this.
The suspects are accused of being involved with cocaine, marijuana, LSD and prescription drugs.
Local and state agencies helped out, along with federal ATF agents.
There are arrest warrants pending on several other people they couldn’t find.
UPSET says they’re seeing drug activity increase in the U.P. every year, especially in Marquette County, which they say is emerging as a regional hub for drug trafficking.
