This morning, the Marquette General Women’s and Children’s Center received nearly $18,000 from the Kohl’s store.
The donated funds will be used for injury prevention programs.
Some of the classes range from reinforcing helmet use with skiing and snowboarding to teaching booster seat safety.
Because the nearly $18,000 check helps so many people in the U.P., many feel it’s worth so much more.
The Kohl’s fund is given annually.
