Water main flushing may lead to cloudy water

MARQUETTE — Some residents in Marquette may see water disruptions this and next week.

Starting July 22nd, the City of Marquette Water Department will be flushing water mains in the Mountain Tank Pressure District. This includes the area south of Baraga Avenue and west of U-S 41.

Residents in this area may experience cloudy water and minimal water disruptions during the process.
The water department asks that residents let water run until it’s clear before using it.

The job should be complete by August 31st.
