Man involved in standoff receives sentence

IRON MOUNTAIN — A Norway man facing weapons charges received his sentence this week in Dickinson County District Court.

Robert Anderson, 51, was sentenced to 60 days in jail and 12 months probation. He’ll also have to pay a total of $995 in costs and fines.

Anderson was arrested last month after a two hour standoff with Police. He had barricaded himself in a trailer while he threatened self–harm. Anderson was taken into custody for possession of a firearm while under the influence, which he pleaded guilty to.
