2-vehicle accident leaves one injured in Negaunee Township
NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a two-vehicle, personal injury crash that occurred on Highway M 35 near Annex Road in Negaunee Township around 6:00p.m. Monday evening.
A 2005 Honda Station Wagon was traveling North on the highway when it crashed into the back of a 2014 Ford Focus, which was making a left turn onto Annex Road. The driver and passengers of the Honda were medically evaluated on scene by Richmond Township EMS, with one of the passengers sustaining minor injuries. The driver of the Ford was uninjured.
At this time, drugs are believed to have been a factor in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
