High school basketball game honors military
Honoring our nations military was on the agenda during a high school basketball game Wednesday night in Ishpeming.
Westwood High School’s match up against Gwinn was called “Armed Forces Game”.
The idea for the Armed Forces game came from Ryan Reichel, the head coach of the Westwood boys varsity basketball team.
The Patriots and Modeltowners wore special warm-ups. They were designed to honor all the past and present United States Armed Forces members.
All current and former military members were allowed into the game free of charge.
