Supplies donated to Birchview Elementary School

ISHPEMING, Mich. (WBUP) — A local elementary school got a donation today to help keep the students, staff, and teachers safe. Birchview Elementary School said they can’t thank a local non-profit organization enough for their incredible generosity.

The Go Get Outside team supplied each and every student with a water bottle, a mask, and a bottle of hand sanitizer. Additionally, each teacher got a bag full of supplies and a giant classroom jug of hand sanitizer. Birchview Elementary School received lots of sanitizing spray to use on surfaces each night to ensure a clean and safe environment for students to learn.

The donation is part of one of the Go Get Outside programs called the Teacher’s Warehouse. The main fundraising opportunity for the program is the Fat-Ish bike race which happens this Saturday.
