ATV crash in Marinette County leaves one dead
PORTERFIELD — On Saturday, July 13th at 7:43 a.m. the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an ATV crash on Town Road #41 near the Menominee River.
Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies and Wisconsin DNR wardens found a burned 4-wheeler, and 49-year-old William P. Doyen of DePere, Wisconsin in the wreckage.
Investigations revealed showed that ATV was eastbound on Highway 180, when it rolled over and ended upright. The vehicle then burned completely, with Doyen underneath it.
The incident remains under investigation.
