Marquette Breakfast Rotary Club held 28th annual Fish Boil

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Breakfast Rotary Club held their 28th annual Fish Boil over the weekend.

The event saw over 300 people attend the charity event that was held at the Lake Superior Theater located in the Frazier Yacht Yard. The guests received an authentic fish boil dinner and had the chance to win great prizes.

“The turnout is great and this is the 28th year for our annual Fish Boil,” said Jennifer Huetter, Co-Chair for Fish Boil for Marquette Breakfast Rotary. “We have a lot of folks coming out tonight to help support our local youth and it is really exciting. We are all just really happy to have everybody here.”

With such a great turn out the group actually sold out of tickets very quickly.

So if you are looking to come next year, then getting a hold of tickets sooner than later might be something to look in to.

“Well we sold out this year,” said Jennifer. “By Wednesday we were sold out. I would tell folks next year that if you want to come next year then get your tickets early. Its very critical because, the event has become very popular which is great for us as well as the local community. This is because all the money is donated back, so it is really important to get your tickets early because it will sell out.”

The Marquette Breakfast Rotary Club received over $50,000 for programs involving youth and the youth within the community.
