MARQUETTE — A national music review with high energy dance, choreography, and lavish costuming visited the veterans at the D. J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans to perform for them.

These performers take the time to visit with the veterans, expressing a nation’s gratitude for the veterans’ sacrifices and service. They travel across all 50 states to perform and engage with veterans to let them know they are not forgotten.

“They toured for us so now we are touring for them,” said Stephen Downey, Road Manager for Re-Creation. “We go out and give them thanks because they deserve it. They gave so much of their lives to our country and so they deserve to be let known that people are appreciative for their service.”

This organization is sponsored nationally by the Elks National Veteran Service Commission, Florida State Elks and the Brightening Veterans Lives (BVL) organization.
