MARQUETTE CO. — The Greater Ishpeming Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce (GINCC) is hosting their 7th annual Town–Wide Rummage Sale.

The sale will take place on the West End of Marquette County on June 7th, 8th and 9th. Sale locations will primarily be in Negaunee and Ishpeming but there will be some in the outlying areas as well.

“It’s a way to get the community involved and out–and–about. Usually, traditionally spring has been a time to do garage sales and the Chamber just gets a full directory compiled and people go around, check out businesses, do the rummage sale and have a good weekend” said the Executive Director of the Greater Ishpeming Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce, Bob Hendrickson.

It is a fun way for people to interact with others in the community. The event is open to anyone, registration for vendors is $10 and that gets you on the directory for the sale.

The last day to register to be a vendor is on Friday, May 31st. People can visit the GINCC office to register or online at their website.

“So last year we had 50 participants that were offering locations to rummage sale at, so far, things are going good. Next week is out last registration week and we expect an increase in numbers at that time” said Hendrickson.

More information on where to register or how to find vendors is available on the GINCC website. Those wanting to attend can find a list of vendors at local store or gas stations on the West End or on the click here.
