Part of Lakeshore Blvd. reopened
MARQUETTE — Marquette City Officials have announced that part of Lakeshore Boulevard has been reopened.
The stretch of road north of Fair Avenue was previously closed down back in October of 2018 due to damage from the lake and the weather throughout the winter.
Starting today, the portion of Lakeshore between Fair Avenue and Wright Street has been reopened, but north of Wright to Hawley will remain closed for more cleaning and repairs.
A detour will be in place for that section until further notice, and ABC10 will keep you up to date on when the road is fully opened.
