New manager welcomed to WMCHF
ISHPEMING — The Western Marquette County Health Foundation now has a new manager.
In the past the foundation has had a cooperative agreement with the Greater Ishpeming– Negaunee Chamber of Commerce.
The staff of the Chamber of Commerce would do dual duty, but the chamber is growing. The foundation felt it was necessary to hire their own manager.
As the first manager Christensen is ready to hit the ground running and already preparing for their Fall grant cycle.
“I’m really excited to see what all the various organizations in the county come up. To improve the health and wellness of residents that they serve,” Pam Christensen, Foundation Manager for Western Marquette County Health Foundation.
Fall grant cycles are due October 1st of this year.
