MARQUETTE COUNTY — A local organization is increasing tourism in Marquette County.

The Eagle Mine is holding public tours of their facilities this summer. With tours of the mine and their Humboldt Mill, there will be plenty to see. The mine’s will be driving tours, while members of the public will be walking for the tour of the Humboldt Mill.

It’s a great chance to see more than just how the operations work.

“It’s the employees and the people that are able to build and operate a world class mining operation,” said Meagen Morrison, Eagle Mine’s Social Responsibility Organizer. “So just to get a chance to come out and meet some of the operators and workers that are out there and actually keep this place running is what I think is one of the best parts about the tour.”

The Mine tours will be held at 9 A.M. and the mill tours will be held at 10.
