Circuit Court Judge to be honored with reception

MARQUETTE — A retiring judge in Marquette County will be celebrating a lengthy career next week.

A public reception honoring Judge Thomas Solka will be held on Wednesday, December 28th, in the Marquette County Circuit Courtroom from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition to remarks from the Judge himself, Solka’s portrait — which joins those of Circuit Court Judges past — will be unveiled at that event.

Judge Solka announced his retirement in March. Judge Jennifer Mazzuchi will assume Chief Circuit and Probate Court Judge duties after Solka finishes up on the thirty-first.
