Girl Scouts celebrating 100th cookie season
APPLETON, Wisc. — A very special congratulations to the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes who a celebrating a big and tasty land–mark this year.
As the local Girl Scouts kick off the 2017 season it marks the 100th cookies season since the first known sale of cookies by the Girl Scouts.
Officials from the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes said that the cookie sales help the girls involve build skills to become effective leads and mange finances as well as become more self–sufficient and confident.
In addition the girl scouts have a new S’more cookie available.
