Flower shop turning over a new leaf

MARQUETTE — A local business is turning a new leaf and relocating their shop to be front and center.

Forsberg’s, A New Leaf Flower Shop has relocated from Third St. to 201 Front Street in downtown Marquette. As they opened their doors today, this mother daughter duo was given an official welcome by the Downtown Development Authority.

“It is a full service flower shop first. Then we do weddings, funerals. We have designer vases, gift baskets so you will see merchandise that you would use to put into a gift basket,” said LouAnn Balding, Owner, Forsberg’s Flower Shop.

Along with flowers and plants, the shop also sells unique and decorative, specialty items. You can also find original artwork as well as U.P. inspired gift items.
The shop is open seven days a week and offers delivery services.
